The ESSA AND DISTRICT AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY and the THORNTON DISTRICT LIONS CLUB
are pleased to offer a $1000 bursary to a deserving Essa Township student
who has been accepted into an agricultural program
at an accredited post-secondary institution.
ELIGIBILITY
APPLICANTS MUST:
• Live in or recent resident of Essa Township
• Be a Grade 12 or recent (within 2 years) graduate
• Have been accepted into a full time, agricultural program at an accredited university or college beginning in the fall of 2024
• Have a demonstrated interest in agriculture, community, rural issues, leadership and scholastics
HOW TO APPLY
DELIVER THE FOLLOWING TO THE ESSA AGRIPLEX:
• a current resume
• a copy of your current secondary school transcript
• a copy of your program acceptance letter or timetable
• a completed application

The successful candidate will be announced at the Barrie Fair
at the Essa Agriplex in August 2024.
