ABOUT US

The Essa & District Agricultural Society (EDAS) has been in existence since 1853. Formerly the Barrie & District Agricultural Society, the organization was formed to host the community annual fall fair for the region.

Join the Essa & District Agricultural Society and get involved with our community driven team! Although the Barrie Fair is our largest event on the Essa Agriplex property, we like to do our best in being a part of community events such as christmas parades, agriculture events and more! We are always looking for bright ideas, a helping hand and people that are excellent in leadership and organization. If this sounds like you, we need to hear from you!
