    MOVE IN DATE: Mid-October or later

    MOVE OUT DATE: Concluding at the end of April. The Essa & District Agricultural Society will notify you directly if we choose to extend the deadline and allow you to stay beyond April. All stored goods must be removed from the Essa Agriplex property by the end of April; there will be a late fee charge of $100.00 per day, per goods stored, for any late
    departures not previously agreed to by the Essa & District Agricultural Society. If goods have not been removed after 7 (seven) days of late fees, the goods will be towed and removed at the owner’s expense.

    Please note that space under barns is limited, gravel areas may be available upon request once barns reach capacity.

    Rental Rate For Returning Clients:

    $16.00 per linear foot +HST. A flat fee of $400 +HST for all items 25 feet or less in length

    Rental Rate For New Clients:
    $25.00 per linear foot + HST. A flat fee of $625 + HST for all items 25 feet or less in length

    THE TENANT HAS AGREED TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS:

    * Payment Terms: Full payment is required upon signing of this agreement for the term of this contract. A credit card must be on file in the case of clean up, repairs, or costs concerning this rental, including failure to pickup during move out.

    Stored goods must be the property of the Tenant named in this agreement.

    Subletting of the rental space is not permitted. The rentals will not include human or animal occupancy, trash, or other materials not named in this agreement. No alterations to the rental space or outside the rental space are permitted. The Tenant equipment will be removed if use of the premises is deemed detrimental to the Landlord, premises or general well-being of other Tenants. The Landlord shall furnish notice to the Tenant in this agreement and provide 7 days from the date of said notice for the Tenant to remove their goods. Cost of trash removal or cleanup of spills is not part of the rental rate. The Tenant agrees to remove everything brought to the premises and that the rental space will be left clean, undamaged and in the state it was initially provided. No signage of any type is permitted. No perishable or flammable goods are permitted in the rental space. No locks or chains are permitted affixed to any part of the Landlord’s property. Tenants are encouraged to install a hitch lock on their trailers for added security. The Landlord will not furnish warehousing staff or equipment to move the Tenant’s property.

    Goods can only be accessed during operating hours of the facility (upon request), requests to access goods must be provided in advance to ensure staff are on site and the property is open (generally only applies to winter months due to weather). A request to remove goods earlier than the agreed upon date in this document must be provided to the Landlord in advance to review.

    The Tenant agrees that the Landlord will not be responsible for their goods in any way and releases the Landlord from all liability, loss or damage to the Tenant’s property. This includes bird and wildlife impact on stored goods. The Tenant acknowledges that the premises are unmonitored and their goods are stored in an open barn. The Tenant must  supply insurance documents to the Landlord on all goods stored for the term of this agreement.
