Agricultural Mural Winners!

This year, our Barrie Fair Committee decided to give local schools an opportunity to create agricultural themed murals that would be entered into a friendly competition that would consist of cash prizes and free admission to the Barrie Fair. All murals will be showcased at the Barrie Fair, so don’t forget to take a look at these fantastic pieces when you visit us at the Barrie Fair. We would like to thank all of the students and the schools that participated this year!

SENIOR DIVISION – 1ST PLACE – New Lowell Central Public School, Mr.Daniels Grade 8 Class

JUNIOR DIVISION – 1ST PLACE – Pine River Elementary School, Mrs. Parson Grade 2/3 Class

JUNIOR DIVISION – 2ND PLACE – Pine River Elementary School, Ms. Greenshields Grade 1 Class

The decisions were quite hard and it was tough to make a choice, so we thank and greatly appreciate all of the students and teachers for their hard work. Hoping we will get even more entries for next year’s murals!
