Barrie Fair Ambassadors

We are looking for the next EDAS’ 2022 Ambassador.  Being the Barrie Fair Ambassador is so much more than simply attending our 4 day fair! The EDAS Ambassador will help to promote, educate and celebrate Canadian Agriculture and help to shine a light on the importance of the Essa and District Agricultural Society.  Our ambassadors have the opportunity to travel to events throughout Central Ontario representing the Essa & District Agricultural Society & the Barrie Fair! From attending local Santa Claus Parades to travelling to the OAAS Convention and CNE Ambassador of the Fairs Competition in Toronto, there are many resume and relationship building opportunities throughout the term!  It is important to know that you will be representing the EDAS at all times, even when your sash is off.

Scholarship is awarded in three portions : Barrie Fair, Conference weekend in February. Opening day of the next fair when they turn over their title to the next ambassador.
